Creative Works of Lancaster receives state arts funding support through a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. Thanks to the PCA and to our regional PA Partner, Berks Arts.

Our friends at Shumaker have helped transform nontraditional spaces into theatrical environments for us countless times over the years with lighting, staging, and sound equipment — along with their own brand of magic. They're always up for a challenge and will work to find the best solutions for whatever crazy ideas we throw their way as we continue our nomadic adventures around Lancaster.

The Lancaster Dramatists' Platform connects Lancaster-area playwrights with one another and with the national playwriting community, providing a platform for them to tell their stories, develop their plays, and grow in their craft. We've partnered with many Platform members over the years to present readings and productions of their brand new plays. Platform members also regularly participate as writers for The 24 Hour Plays: Lancaster and Play Grounds: Theater on Site.

Teatro Paloma is Lancaster's Latinx theater company, producing Latinx-centered plays and originally devised works in both English and Spanish, and providing artistic opportunities and connections for Latinx artists and other artists of color from a variety of backgrounds. They seek to showcase and celebrate the diverse experiences of our community for all audiences in Lancaster. We've co-produced bilingual shows with Paloma, and their artists regularly participate in Creative Works projects as well.

These amazing Dudes have been quick to sponsor our projects and help us find spaces. Most recently, they let us use their warehouse space as the location for a socially-distanced COVID-19 film shoot. You can find Two Dudes doing good work all over Lancaster, and we're not only talking about painting. As a certified B Corporation, the Dudes are active in the community, always striving to use business as a force for good.

Modern Art is the genius art and design studio that created EE, and we've taken any opportunity we could think of to collaborate with them ever since. From the Phonotel to Peep Shows and Tiny Modern Concerts, we love all the amazing things Modern Art does to keep Lancaster weird, and they're the perfect partners when we cook up a quirky idea and need to take it to the next level.

Most often these days, we see Lauren behind the camera when she comes to take wonderful photographs of our projects. (You can see many of her images throughout this site and popping up on our social media pages) You also might be lucky enough to see Lauren act for our projects or in shows at EPAC. We're big fans of this talented photographer and performer, and we're always glad to have Lauren making us look good (or trying to!) — whether on stage or behind the scenes.

The folks at Sparrow designed and built our awesome new website and worked with us patiently throughout the last year as we figured out what we wanted to share with you here. They rock.

New to us, and already impressing us with their combination of professionalism and fun, Justin Time filmed our telethon craziness.
