Play Grounds: Theater on Site returns October 21st & 22nd, 2023, and we’re looking for folks to act, direct, and volunteer!
Play Grounds: Theater on Site is a site-specific theater project consisting of three short plays. Each play takes place in a different location, and the plays are written specifically for the space in which they are performed. The locations are featured stops during Lancaster ArtWalk weekend.

The plays are still in the process of being written and selected, so we will have a better idea of our specific casting needs soon. Creative Works intentionally cultivates a space for local artists to connect, so we aim for a mix of new folks and people who have participated in our projects before. If you are new to us, the interest form will give you the opportunity to attach a resume — or better yet, a brief recorded audition if you’re an actor. Don’t stress; recording yourself with your phone is fine! You can do a monologue, introduce yourself, tell a story — whatever you feel most comfortable doing to give us a sense of who you are as a performer.
