One Night Only: A Christmas Carrie

Creative Works of Lancaster brings its beloved sock puppets back to the stage this December with the return of A Christmas Carrie, an original script by playwright Erich Goldstein that’s on its way to becoming the next great holiday classic. There will be three performances of the show on Friday, December 15 at 6PM, 8PM, and 10PM in the theater at Zoetropolis, 112 N Water St.

Creative Works utilizes a Pay What You Decide (PWYD) ticketing model with no fixed ticket prices. We will never turn away a potential audience member due to financial limitations, and you never need to risk feeling like your experience did not match what you paid. Simply reserve your ticket now and pay what you think the experience was worth after the show. Tickets can be reserved through the Zoetropolis website: www.zoetropolis.com/special_events/a-christmas-carrie. Tickets may also be available at the door, but reservations are highly encouraged.

We recommend leaving the kids at home – this production is based on the 1976 film version of Carrie which is rated R. Combining everyone’s favorite telekinetic prom queen with the time travel of A Christmas Carol and reimagined versions of your favorite musical hits, this hilarious, twisted take on classic characters will warm up your holiday season more than spiked eggnog. It’s the latest offering in Creative Works of Lancaster’s series of sock puppet film parodies, with previous shows including Sock Puppet Psycho, The Sockfather, Silence of the Socks, and Jaws to the World.

We hope to see you there!
